This is an old farmhouse which has been restored using fine materials: stone, adobe and wood.. With a high level of comfort and plenty of outdoor gardened areas.

Situated in the centre of the tectonic river basin of the Bierzo, we find the village of Carracedelo, at km 399 on the A6 motorway, between the rivers Sil and Cúa, and halfway between the Aquilanos Mountains that separate the Bierzo and the Cabrera and the Ancares nature reserve, marking the border between León, Asturias and Lugo; just a short distance from Ponferrada and Villafranca del Bierzo; bordered by two areas of "World Heritage Interest": on the one hand, the fertile Route to Santiago, and on the other the majestic Roman gold mines of Las Médulas.

In Carracedelo, the traveller can hike along dozens of kilometres, going through orchards, tobacco fields and lands with green peppers, tomatoes, potatoes etc.; discover the fresh and magical shady areas, which are full of life, and have the possibility of even spotting the acrobatics of a family of otters catching their trout or simply enjoying an undisturbed swim through the water; at nightfall you can listen to the lament of the owl, very much linked to the protective goddess of Athens and when Dawn extends its reddish fingers across the horizon, you will hear thousands of birds accompanying the waking up of the traveller.
